Es wird aufgezeigt, dass es zwischen den zwei unterschiedlichen weltanschaulichen Doktrinen weit mehr Gemeinsamkeiten gibt, als weithin angenommen wird. Die Hauptschwierigkeit aber, die die theoretische Vermittlung und Versöhnung unmöglich macht, ist die unterschiedliche Beurteilung der Tragweite des menschlichen Erkenntnisvermögens. | ||
| 520 | |a The paper is devoted to the analysis of the last controversy between theist and pantheist worldview in German speculative thought, which took place in the 1870 s. The protagonists of the controversy are theist Immanuel Hermann Fichte – the son of the great German idealist J. G. Fichte – on one side, and the famous pessimist Eduard von Hartmann, whose philosophy of the Unconscious reflects main pantheistic ideas, on the other side. Both philosophers develop speculative philosophic-theological doctrines. The author indicates the deep conceptual unity of these doctrines, which is present in spite of their numerous theoretical discrepancies. The central obstacle, however, that makes the theoretical reconciliation between two philosophers impossible is the different comprehension of the scope of human mind’s competences. | ||
