Beacon
The use of authority records supports the clear identification and attribution of persons, organisations, but also geographical or subject headings. In German-speaking countries, authority records are given an identifier by the German National Library, the so-called GND number. Entries in RelBib marked with the GND number are available in BEACON format and thus can be dynamically linked to other databases.
