During the last years of the 19th century the glorified and sanctified meaning of people and nation was connected with the pattern of organism and brought up the idea of a religion true to type, what means a Germanisation of religion or its clining of all influences of alien blood. The article describes four typical representatives of such religiosity and their theory: Jörg Lanz von Liebenfels and his Ariosophy, Arthur Bonus and his Aryan, better non-Jewish Christianity, Arthur Dinter and the Geistchristentum (Spiritual Christianity), Paul Krannhals and the Organic World Views (Weltanschauung). A few other groups and their leaders representing similar doctrines are dealt with briefly up to Rosenbergs »Myth of the 20th Century«. All these religious intentions built a fertile humus for later National Socialists ideas including its religious implications. | ||
