Résumé: | This article presents a critical review of two edited volumes that deal with the complex intersection of christological discourse and racial discourse. The inquiry is guided by two questions: (1) How is the critical intersection between the two constructed and conceived? (2) What are the constructive solutions and proposals that are offered in response? After an examination of each book, an overall assessment is provided that highlights the enduring significance of race in American Christianity. |
