La vision attribuée à ‘Abd al-Salâm al-Asmar al-Faytûrî se signale par son mimétisme avec l'ascension du Prophète, telle que l'exalte la tradition du Mi‘râj. Parmi les figures incarnées par le Prophète, celle de maître spirituel qui guide le saint dans cette ascension, est particulièrement à l'honneur ici, tandis que l'exaltation de sa fonction eschatologique et d'intercesseur rapproche cette vision d'autres récits de visionnaires. La visée éthique et la portée légitimatrice ancrent cette vision dans les réalités de la voie ‘Arûsiyya-Salâmiyya. La dimension communautaire n'est pas, pour autant, absente : c'est par elle et pour elle que la sainteté d'un homme de Dieu prend tout son sens, c'est en cela d'ailleurs que se parfait l'imitation du modèle muhammadien. | ||

The vision attributed to ‘Abd al-Salâm al-Asmar al-Faytûrî is marked by its mimetism with the Prophet's ascension, as exalted by the tradition of the Mi‘raj. Among the figures incarnated by the Prophet, the figure of spiritual master who guides the saint in this ascension is particularly honored here, while the exaltation of his eschatological and intercessor functions brings this vision closer to other narratives of visionaries. The ethical aim and the legitimizing significance anchor this vision in the realities of the ‘Arûsiyya-Salâmiyya path. However dimension of the Community is not absent: it is through it and for it that the sanctity of a man of God takes on its full meaning, it is indeed in this way that is perfected the Muhammadan model imitation. | ||
