Résumé: | This paper examines the relationship between self and community in the context of interdependence, grounded in an ethnographic study done in a L'Arche community home in which persons with and without intellectual disabilities share life. Through real-life examples and theoretical insights, the importance and shadow sides of interdependence are analyzed, with a concluding theological and practical reflection on how interdependence in community can be affirmed and lived in a freeing, non-oppressive way. |
