L'étude de certains cas d'intertextualité explicite du Pantagruel de Nourry, en relation avec l'actualité et la politique éditoriale de l'atelier du Prince, éclaire l'éventuelle intention de l'auteur de destiner cette œuvre à cet imprimeur. L'accent est mis en particulier sur la catabase d'Épistémon, qui peut se lire comme un catalogue de livres autant ou davantage que comme une liste de personnages historiques, mythologiques et romanesques. | ||

It also addresses the debate about whether the edition of Pantagruel published by this printer was the very first one or whether there was an earlier edition, now lost. The study of certain cases of explicit intertextuality in Nourry's Pantagruel in relation to the current events of the day and the editorial policy of the Prince's workshop reveals the possible intention of the author to dedicate the work to the printer. Emphasis is placed particularly on Epistemon's catabasis, which can be read as much as a catalogue of books as a list of historical, mythological and literary characters, and perhaps even more so. | ||
