| 520 | |a À la suite des parutions autorisées par Rabelais des éditions du Tiers Livre et du Quart Livre en 1552, chez Michel Fezandat, presque toutes les éditions rabelaisiennes (copies et contrefaçons des Tiers et Quart Livres, éditions des uvres, de l'Isle sonante et du Cinquiesme Livre) paraissent sans lieu et sans nom, ou en cachant l'identité des imprimeurs/libraires derrière des pseudonymes divers. Nous essayons d'identifier les imprimeurs d'un certain nombre de ces éditions, pour la plupart parisiennes, mais également lyonnaises ou tourangelles. À partir de ces identifications, il est possible de démontrer la place centrale occupée par Claude Micard parmi les libraires qui vendaient le Cinquiesme Livre et les uvres de Rabelais. Enfin, il est aussi possible de s'interroger sur les éditeurs qui œuvrèrent à mettre au net et diffuser le Cinquiesme Livre et l'Isle sonante. Peu de certitudes en ce domaine, même si Jean Brèche pourrait bien avoir joué un rôle dans la parution de l'Isle sonante. | ||
| 520 | |a After the editions of the Tiers and Quart Livres authorised by Rabelais in 1552 to be published by the Parisian printer Michel Fezandat, almost all Rabelaisian editions (copies and forgeries of the Tiers and Quart Livres, editions of the uvres, and of the Isle sonante and the Cinquiesme Livre) were printed either without a printer's name or location, or falsely identifying their printers/booksellers. We are trying to identify the printers of a number of these editions, mostly from Paris, but also from Lyon and Tours. Identifying the works in question allows us to demonstrate that Claude Micard occupied an important place among the booksellers who were distributing Rabelais' Cinquiesme Livre and uvres. Finally, it is also possible to question the identity of the editors who were working to copy out the Cinquisme Livre and the Isle sonante. It is a very doubtful research field, but we could hypothesise that Jean Brèche of Tours could have played an important role in the publication of the Isle sonante in 1562. | ||
