Summary: | This article reflects upon the challenges of older generations in the Australian Pentecostal church. After careful consideration of the dynamics and nature of this movement, it is argued that Pentecostalism and its associated spiritual practices could still prove meaningful for the ageingeven challenging notions of what it means to know God in times of cognitive decline. Overall, although limitations in current practices are noted, suggestions are made for how Australian pentecostals' may better engage older personsparticularly the ageing baby boomer generation. |
