Im Rückgriff auf Marx´ Kritik der Gerechtigkeit wird in dem Beitrag gefragt, wie man überhaupt Gerechtigkeitstheorie und politische Ethik betreiben kann, wenn man Marx´ Kritik der Gerechtigkeit begriffen hat. Um diese Frage zu beantworten, wird an Marx´ praktischen Materialismus angeschlossen: Seine kritische Gesellschaftsanalyse entschleiert die gesellschaftliche Verhältnissen und nimmt ihnen ihre vermeintliche Objektivität - und legt sie so in die Handlungsmacht der Menschen, die von diesen Verhältnissen bestimmt werden. Damit entsteht ein Handlungsraum der Gerechtigkeit, der allerdings von Marx durch ein »Überangebot« an Notwendigkeiten gleich wieder verschlossen wird. Eine Politische Ethik der Gerechtigkeit ist demgegenüber nur möglich, wenn sie die Übermacht der Notwendigkeiten anzweifelt und das bestehende »Reich der Notwendigkeiten« mit Kontingenzen durchlöchert. Solch eine Politische Ethik wird nicht an die Stelle der kritischen Gesellschaftsanalyse, sondern »nur« an deren Seite treten, - zumindest wenn sie als Gesellschaftskritik betrieben wird. | ||

Referring to Marx´ Critique of Justice the article asks how justice theory and political ethics can be pursued at all, if one has understood Marx´ Critique of Justice. To answer this question, reference is made to Marx´ practical materialism: His critical social analysis unveils social conditions and deprives them of their supposed objectivity - and thus places them in the power to act of people determined by these conditions. This creates a space for justice, which Marx, however, immediately closes again by an »oversupply« of necessities. A political ethic of justice, on the other hand, is only possible if it doubts the superiority of necessities and holes the existing »empire of necessities« with contingencies. Such a political ethics will not replace the critical analysis of society, but »only« take on its side - at least if it is pursued as a criticism of society. | ||
