J.H. Stadler traces the life of Hedwig Anneler (part I+II) and E.A. Knauf places Hedwig Anneler's thesis in the context of Elephantine studies and the history of Israel (part III). Hedwig Anneler became a prolific writer. She fought against discrimination (of women and of Jews), iniquity, and violence. She died 1969, two years before Swiss women were granted the right to vote. Hedwige Anneler fut l’ une des premières femmes ayant obtenu unPh.D. à l’université de Berne. Sa thèse est l’ une despremières monographies dédiées à la colonie militaire juived’ Eléphantine en Egypte achéménide après l’apparition despapyri 1906 et 1911. J.H. Stadler suit les traces de la vied’ Hedwige Anneler, tandis que E.A. Knauf apprécie sa thèse dansle contexte des études concernant Eléphantine et l’histoired’Israël. Hedwig Anneler est devenue femme de lettres et alutté contre la discrimination (des femmes et des juifs),l’inégalité et la violence. Elle est décédée en 1969, deuxans avant l’introduction du droit de vote des femmes. | ||
