This article first describes the transformation of religious terms, norms and interpretative patterns on the basis of which Christianity - from antiquity to modernity - sought to establish concepts of family and kinship as spaces for living and learning. In the course of the history of Christianity, however, the relation between religious program and social process became a challenge itself, in that conceptualization and standardization must alway be carried out within the requirements and entelechy of the world in which one lives. | ||
