This article examines the relations between the organized Jewish community in the United States and the Rabin regime in Israel. As Israeli Jews increasingly dislike the chauvinistic and militaristic views of the organized American Jews the Rabin regime in Israel may try to rely more on its own strength in the future - and less on good relations with the organized American Jews and their influence upon U.S. policies.
