| Summary: | In a comparative analysis, the article aims to introduce the Lanza del Vasto’s philosophy with a new perspective. Starting from the cultural environment in Paris, one considers his studies and further journeys, which complete in a natural way his personal itinerary as extraordinary as rich in theological and philosophical references. Previous research focused – rightly – on his relation with Gandhi and Indian traditions, but it is also important to focus on other, not secondary, influences. Through this lens, the paper provides an overview of his thought, also examining the authors with whom he shared an intellectual affinity and who may help to understand his vision of reality. |
