Résumé:An essay on the material representation of living the Mormon life is presented. It offers a history of symbolism for interpreting religions meanings and examines the material framework that provide religious meaning by living the mandate of building Zion from materials sources in the physical environment. The author relates the way living life according to Mormonism can help in solving cultural problems in the perpetual way by interrelating the material with Latter-day Saints (LDS) theology.
