Thus, the initially unproblematic demand for more security turns out to be a classic conflict of objectives between different goods such as security, freedom, justice and privacy. The production of security is not simply 'good'. Today's secular security desires-strategies and actions have their own religious history. If we become aware of this history, religion can also be understood as a guide to a - much-needed - insecurity competence. | ||
