Summary: | This study intends to show the convergences and divergences of the spirituality of Francis de Sales as compared to the recent and flourishing work of positive psychologists in furthering the dialogue between psychology and spirituality, especially in the important field of character formation or virtue education. However, the scope of this study will be limited to the character strength or virtue of humility and those virtues closely allied with it as an initial attempt to explore and encourage further research along this line. |
