The author maintains a constant dialogue with Husserl and Heidegger, and he gives original interpretations of their work. This essay intends to offer an overview of Lacoste's main themes, with special attention to his phenomenology of liturgy, which represents the turning point of his philosophy "Phenomenological plurality", "regional phenomenology" and "fragile phenomenology" are interpretative categories used to understand the peculiarity of his thought, aimed at widening the boundaries of phenomenological research. The result is a phenomenology of potentially infinite scope.
