I then explore the taxonomies of pleasure and delight in Augustinian and Thomist philosophy. Finally I turn to three late-medieval dramatic texts, all of which share an interest in Paradise, and explore the ways in which these texts utilise the contemporary understanding of delight in order to reinforce their didacticism. | ||
