Ces normes axiologiques restent donc, en leur validité comme en leur hiérarchie, indépendantes de l'affectivité qui les saisit. Mais l'idéalité des normes éthiques n'est-elle pas suspecte dès lors qu'elle ne peut pas être éprouvée ? Ne masque-t-elle pas une normativité infondée, déterminant d'avance le discours normatif de l'éthique phénoménologique ? Pour constituer le vrai fondement de la normativité, l'affectivité ne doit-elle pas cesser de s'aliéner dans l'objectivation de valeurs idéales qui la nient et être conçue, avec Michel Henry, comme cette pure épreuve de la vie qui ne se sépare pas de soi ? | ||

Husserl and Scheler reveal below the practical norms (social and empirical) the axiological norms (ideal and aprioristic) that are inherent in our emotional experiences. These axiological norms therefore remain, in their validity as much as in the hierarchy, independent of the affectivity that seizes them. But is not the ideal nature of ethical standards questionable if it cannot be tested? Does it not mask an unfounded normativity, determining in advance the normative discourse of phenomenological ethics? To construct the true foundation of normativity, must not the affectivity cease to be alienated from itself in the objectivation of ideal values that deny it? With Michel Henry, can we instead view normativity as a pure testing of life that is not separated from itself? | ||
