Scholars are beginning to examine the manner in which the use of objects, visual display, and media-saturated discourse in museums empowers their message. This study adds to this literature by examining the role of media, religion and the subjectivities of religious patrons in meaning-making practices at the Creation Museum in Kentucky. We learn that the museum's narrative resonates with the public memory regarding the role of traditional museums and a biblio-centric view of the world. This increases the veracity of its religious message.
