Zusammenfassung:Following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) began eliminating views, approaches, and cultural elements running contrary to the teachings of Islam, replacing them with cultural and religious elements rooted in Islam. These policies were designed to in meet the expectations and demands of Iran's religious society. This article examines the factors shaping expectations of the religion-oriented society of Iran regarding the IRIB. Findings indicate that more than 75% of respondents believe that the IRIB meets their expectations. Results also confirm that two factors, religiosity and people's approval of television programs, play a significant role in influencing religious expectations from the IRIB.
