Simultaneously, American Evangelism efforts caused new divisions in countries with strong secular or Catholic traditions. While American Evangelicals underestimated the power of the horizontal church organization in Europe, they succeeded in bringing the fragile Evangelical communities in Europe into transatlantic and global networks. | ||
