Based on the necrology of the Windesheim Cannons of Our Dear Lady Ten Walle - in Elsegem near Oudenaarde in modern-day East Flanders - this article explores the way in which the canons and canonesses of Windesheim commemorated their deaths while at the same time building their group identity. | ||
