Three indices of social deprivation (sex, age, and education) are combined into a composite index and correlated with indices of types of religiosity in a Roman Catholic parish. In addition, a composite religiosity index is correlated with each of the social deprivation variables: sex, age, and education. The findings substantiate the social deprivation model. | ||
