Se situant au plan d'une poétique, il déconstruit les rationalisations tant mythologiques que métaphysiques de l'incarnation, qui ont en commun de dévaluer la chair en la posant dans un temps second (Jésus, l'existence, l'histoire) par rapport au temps originel d'un Logos préexistant hors la chair (le Christ, l'essence, l'idée). Le concept d'existance, inspiré de Derrida et exploré à partir d'une reprise critique de Hegel, permet à l'inverse de ne plus subordonner (hiérarchiquement) l'existence à l'essence et, par là, de poser (transversalement) la charnalité de Dieu comme première et structurelle. Dans l'optique d'une telle archi-charnalité, il s'agit de promouvoir un matérialisme de l'appel : si en Jésus-Christ s'opère la réconciliation du monde avec Dieu, alors c'est à même la fragilité et la faiblesse de la chair, et jamais indépendamment d'elle, qu'insiste la possibilité de Dieu dans le monde - et que peut advenir la possibilité d'un monde où Dieu règne. | ||
