Zusammenfassung:The relationship between marriage and religion and well-being has been well documented. Arguing that the marital state is crucial to one's position in the Catholic Church, we hypothesized that married Catholics would have the highest scores on both integration and well-being, those whose marriages were annulled would be next, and the divorced would have the lowest. Questionnaires containing measures of overall Integration, General Well-Being, and Physical Well-Being were analyzed. Results strongly supported the predictions. It is concluded that the marital state is highly important to the position of the Catholic and their general well-being is dependent upon that status.
