Description
Résumé:A multidisciplinary review and synthesis of transcultural and psychodynamic research reveal a common underlying process of therapeutic transformation in healing ritual, psychosocial therapy, and human development. A conceptual model of this process is presented which provides a transcultural and interreligious guide for planning therapy, for establishing mutual understanding between religious and secular professional helpers, and for recognizing human growth potential in developmental crises.
