Eurocentrism in the current system is a product of racism, and prevents students from learning from a diversity of cultural perspectives. Further, failing to decolonize actively perpetuates injustice towards both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students, and fails to equip students to participate in the societal changes that are necessary to heal the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in North America. | ||
