Summary: | The purpose of the present study was to investigate the nature of work significance and identify its key antecedents and consequences in Indian organizations. Partial least squares modeling (N = 300 working Indian managers) confirmed the reliability and validity of the proposed a priori model. Furthermore, a mediation-moderation analysis suggested that work significance had a significant mediating influence between antecedent and consequent variables, and its influence was not moderated by the type of organization studied in the research. The applied values of the research along with its limitations and future directions are briefly discussed. |
