Estas posturas dan sentido a la dialéctica de opuestos del título: la espina y el bálsamo. | ||
| 520 | |a Based on the experience reported by Simon Wiesenthal, the tireless Nazis' persecutor, who poses an ethical and moral dilemma about the legality, necessity or opportunity of the enemy's forgiveness, as well as forgiveness in his own name and in the name of others, it is developed in the present article the positions, ideologically more akin to the Jewish tradition, that delimit the unforgivable offenses, and those more related to the Catholic tradition, which advocate forgiveness as a balsamic attitude, transforming and generating positive changes in who practices it, regardless of the demonstration of regret, the humble request for forgiveness or the reparation to the victims, on the part of the offender. These postures give meaning to the dialectic of opposites of the title: the thorn and the balm. | ||
