The article shows how, in response to a social emergency such as the waste crisis in the Campania region of southern Italy, answers can be provided to the territory through an educational initiative based on new, modern, pro-social models of learning. Project activities involve not only the beneficiaries, but they also become educational material for the educators themselves, for whom a job becomes a "mission" and vice versa. Drawing from Pope Francis's view of education, with the three languages of the head, the heart, and the hands, the article plays off the word that gives the project its name and concludes that educating towards human values is also educating towards transcendence. | ||
