Summary: | The article presents a study of implicit religion and urban regeneration. There has been relatively little attention paid to belief and practice in communities of the other major world faiths or in situations of religious diversity. Moreover, attention has not been paid to the relationship between implicit faith and social action. The article attempts to explore these areas, by drawing on the data collected in nearly 100 in-depth interviews carried out under a Joseph Rowntree Foundation funded study on the theme of Faith in Urban Regeneration. |
