| 520 | |a O presente trabalho surge como proposta modelar de interpretação, à luz da metáfora conjugal, das relações entre as duas instituições - o Estado/Monarca e a Religião/Igreja - na prossecução dos seus objetivos sociais e políticos em torno do projeto «Portugal». Os documentos de investigação disponíveis permitem observar, nas relações institucionais, comportamentos de grande similitude, ou flagrantemente próximos, com os que se verificam no quadro das relações humanas de conjugalidade, pelo que o uso da metáfora conjugal se tornou um privilegiado e útil instrumento na análise dessas relações. Partindo do âmbito das generalidades contextuais e tomando como fundo a evolução histórica, com seus aportes e ajustes, tanto as da realidade histórica como as que a metáfora oferecia, foi encetada e progredindo a investigação. As similitudes cotejadas e sua demonstração tiveram mais em conta os resultados finais de cada situação ou período do que propriamente as razões que estiveram na origem dos diversos comportamentos, porquanto também eles foram gerados por diversa motivação e foram de índole e natureza distinta. Os primeiros indícios do projeto identitário do País dos Portugueses em que se veem envolvidos clérigos e nobres do Condado Portucalense transmitem uma atmosfera de cumplicidades de afetos que só encontram paralelo no aflorar dos primeiros ardores do enamoramento humano. A conjugação dos esforços levou à concretização de uma aliança de vidas em que foi posto em comum tudo o que era das partes (bens materiais e espirituais) para a prossecução do único objetivo: a construção de um País como uma união conjugal monogâmica, entre a Religião (Igreja católica) e o Estado. A partir de então, numa sucessão de bons e de maus momentos, como sucede em qualquer união conjugal, houve situações de alguma fricção, houve amuos, houve reconciliações e também houve muito desgaste que, um dia, ditou uma rutura com separação e divórcio. Posteriormente, deu-se a reaproximação e estabeleceu-se uma relação diferente, comparável à união de facto entre pares humanos mas com separação de bens, projetos diferenciados para o País, embora já numa condição de poligamia em tempos que são de convivência confessional diversificada, pois são várias, atualmente, as confissões religiosas professadas pelos Portugueses. | ||
| 520 | |a This thesis proposes a model of critical analysis and interpretation, using the conjugal metaphor of the relations between two institutions -the State and the Church -in the pursuit of their own social and political agenda around the “Portugal” project. The available research documents not only allow this metaphorical approach as they themselves induce observation for similar institutional behaviourstrikingly close to the relationships commonly experienced in people’s general marital relationship. It is with-in the framework of contextual generalities and considering the historical evolution, with its contributions and adjustments in both realities, that our research took place. These similarities and their demonstration took more into account the final results of each situation or period than the reasons that originated various behaviours, as they were also generated by different motivations and had a different nature.The first signs of the identity project of the Country of the Portuguese people, in which clerics and nobles of the Portucalense County are involved, convey an atmosphere of complicity of affections that are only paralleled in the emergence of the first enthusi-asms of humans falling in love. The combination of efforts has led to an alliance of lives in which all belongings (both material and spiritual) were combined in order to achieve a sole objective: the construction of a Country as one monogamous conjugal union be-tween Religion (catholic Church) and State. From then on, in a succession of good and bad moments, as in any conjugal union, there were situations of some friction, there was sulking, there were reconciliations and also a lotof deterioration that eventually dictated a rupture with separation and divorce. Subsequently, a different relationship was estab-lished, comparable to the de facto union of human couples, but with separation of prop-erty, differentiated projects for the country and in a condition of polygamous union, since the times are those of forcible coexistence of the various religious denominations professed by the Portuguese people. | ||
