É muito difícil e poderá eventualmente até revelar-se perigoso (desde logo porque estigmatizador) opinar neste contexto, mesmo em ambiente geral democrático e pluralista. Há uma incompreensão política persistente da realidade religiosa e uma incompreensão religiosa da realidade política, talvez maior ainda nos tempos atuais.Neste artigo se procura ensaística e tentativamente ponderar a necessidade de levar em conta a importância civilizacional do legado e da ação de organismos religiosos, com a necessária igualdade (ou equidade) entre os credos, e direitos análogos dos descrentes, agnósticos e indiferentes.A conclusão é a de que se não vê quem, além de um Estado laico, possa assumir o papel de árbitro, com um papel irrepreensível, sem servilismo e sem anticlericalismo. Só assim também os grupos religiosos aprofundariam a sua diferença específica de espiritualidade numinosa. Num tempo em que se lançam dúvidas sobre essa característica, sobretudo em algumas chamadas "seitas". | ||
| 520 | |a The question of rights and freedoms related to religious convictions and philosophical perspectives on transcendence is still very much imbued with passionate prejudices. It is very difficult and may even dangerous (henceforth because of stigmatizing) to express opinions in this context, even in a democratic and pluralistic general environment. There is a persistent political misunderstanding of religious reality and a religious misunderstanding of political reality, perhaps even greater in present times.In this article we seek (with an essay style and approach) consider the need to take into account the civilizational importance of the legacy and the action of religious organisms, with the necessary of equality (or equity) between the creeds, and analogous rights of the unbelieving, agnostic and indifferent.The conclusion is that one does not see who, besides a secular state, can assume the role of arbiter, with an irreproachable role, without servility and without anticlericalism. Only in this way would religious groups further their specific difference in numinous spirituality. At a time when doubts are cast on this characteristic of some of those groupe, especially some of those called "sects". | ||
