The purpose of this study is to identify and explore the distinction between Christianityas the popular caricature so generally attacked, and the real-essential Christianityestablished by Christ. The essay will argue that Christianity in its radical message andexperience is not, in any sense, secularizable, discovering, in the Gospels, how Christsaw the civilized world: as mundus inversus. |
