Darüber hinaus wird untersucht, ob sich unterschiedliche Familientypen im Blick auf Rollenerwartungen, Familiennormen und Eltern-Kind-Beziehungen voneinander unterscheiden. 
520 |a The present article shows the higher complexity of contemporary family structures, particular if we include family dynamics after a parental separation or a remarriage. We discuss in how far these modifications correlate with various challenges especially for parents and children. Furthermore, we investigate if there are differences between various family types with respect to role expectations, family norms, and parent-child relationships. Overall the data shows some differences especially for stepfamilies and single parents.
