| Résumé: | O presente estudo tem o intuito de investigar o conceito de símbolo nas considerações teológicas de Paul Tillich e na Psicologia analítica de Carl Gustav Jung, colocando em evidencia as consagradas obras nas quais esses autores fazem referênciaao tema. Assim, é importante delimitar algumas distinções, como os conceitos de sinal e símbolo e sua relação com os tipos de pensamento dirigido e fantasia. Outro fator importante de ser observado consiste na característica do símbolo como parte fundamental da comunicação com as esferas transcendentes e numinosas. Deste modo, objetiva-se colocar em evidência as principais ideias dos autores, estabelecendo ospossíveis paralelos entre a teologia, psicologia e a ligação destes com a religião. The present study aims to investigate the concept of the symbol in the theological consider-ations of Paul Tillich and the Analytical Psychology of carl Gustav Jung, putting in evidencethe established works in which these authors make a reference on the subject. Thus is impor-tant to delimitated some distinctions, such as the concepts of sign and symbol and their re-lationship whit the types of thought, directly and fantasy. Another major factor to be notedis the characteristic of symbol as an essential part of the possibility of communication withthe transcendent and numinous spheres. Therefore the objective is to highlight the main ideasof the authors, establishing the possible parallels between theology, psychology and linkingthese two with religion. |
