Os resultados apontam, por um lado, para uma progressiva erosão das práticas e representações associadas à doutrina Católica-romana - o que se traduz numa heterogeneidade de posicionamentos que oscilam entre o integrismo intransigente e o progressismo radical - e por outro, verificámos que o envolvimento emocional, em detrimento do processo estruturado de formação, é neste caso o elemento central na vinculação ideológica confessional. | ||
| 520 | |a We propose to debate the re-composition of the religious among practising young catholics within the portuguese context. Our paper is based on an empyrical study made between 2001 and 2004 about young laypersons formally organised inside the roman-catholic church’s structure and subject to a structured and institutionalised process of religious socialisation. The results lead us in two different directions. On the one hand we have observed a progressive erosion of pratices and representations associated with the roman-catholic doctrine - which translates into heterogenous stands ranging from intolerant integration to radical progressivism – and on the other hand we have verified that in this case the emotional involvement, to the detriment of the structured educational process, is the centerpiece of the bond to a confessional ideology. | ||
