It situates their religious practices within the context of the intertwined moralities of various social domains that regulate their economic, social, and cultural lives. It illustrates that family values mediate these migrant subjects’ conflicts between their entrepreneurial aspirations and religious morality. This study thus argues that Christianity and family values reinforce each other through everyday religious practices with the latter providing an ethical framework for negotiating moral ambivalence.
