| 520 | |a O propósito deste artigo é fortalecer nossa compreensão acerca dos processos sociais que intervêm na construção e redefinição das identidades de gênero, seja no interior de dois grupos expressivos do protestantismo brasileiro (Assembleia de Deus e a Igreja Presbiteriana do Brasil), seja na interface entre os movimentos religiosos mais amplos e os contextos culturais que lhe servem de suporte. Após apresentar um breve histórico sobre a constituição da esfera dos direitos e a emergência das lutas sociais e correntes feministas, pretendo fazer, à luz das dimensões comparativas dos contextos religiosos elencados, um balanço crítico de alguns modelos teóricos presentes nessas investigações acerca das relações sociais de gênero. Em seguida, reportando-me, no plano teórico, às possibilidades analíticas vinculadas ao pós-estruturalismo feminista e aos aportes teóricos pós-coloniais e da teoria do discurso em chave marxista e “pós-marxista”, ofereço à leitora uma possibilidade de abordagem pautada nos “processos discursivos” da vida social, isto é, nas “construções de linguagem”. | ||
| 520 | |a The purpose of this article is to enhance our understanding of the social processes involved in the construction and redefinition of gender identities, be it inside two significant groups of Brazilian Protestantism (Assemblies of God and Presbyterian Church of Bra-zil), or the interface between the broader religious movements and the cultural contexts that serve to support them. After presenting a short history of the constitution of the sphere of rights, I intend to carry out, in light of the comparative dimensions of the listed religious contexts, a critical assessment of some theoretical models present in these investigations on the social relations of gender. Then, from a theoretical standpoint, by making reference to the analytical possibilities associated with the feminist post-structuralism and post-colonial theoretical contributions and discourse theory in Marxist and “post-Marxist” key, I offer the readers a possibility of approach guided by “discursive processes” of social life, that is, the “language constructs”. | ||
