Most commercial technological applications in daily use take advantage of these techniques to optimize user experience, and heavy investments are being made to refine systems that can react and adapt to users' behaviours in real time. These techniques are still not widely used in the educational world. This essay will present several AI experiments in teaching, highlighting the advantages and difficulties in adopting these approaches in school. In particular, two experiments conducted by the author will be analysed, which are situated in the two main strands of AI in schools. One is AI as an object of study by students, who become AI system designers, and so become aware of the principal mechanisms utilized by modern technological platforms to analyse our behaviours and tastes. The other is AI as a tool for improving the teaching process, providing teachers with significant and useful details (obtained through machine learning) of the resolution process put in place by students during Educational Robotics activities. The first experiment was an attempt to educate students in the ethical use of AI, trying to train citizens who are aware of the AI algorithms already widely used in every aspect of our daily lives; the second was an attempt to take advantage of the potentials of machine learning techniques to aid teachers in analysing students' problem-solving processes - and thus to better understand the students in one's class so as to personalise lesson planning. La Inteligencia Artificial (IA) es cada vez más omnipresente en nuestra sociedad: la mayoría de las aplicaciones tecnológicas comerciales que se utilizan a diario explotan estas técnicas para optimizar la experiencia de los usuarios, y se están haciendo inversiones muy consistentes para desarrollar sistemas que puedan reaccionar y adaptarse en tiempo real a los diferentes comportamientos de los usuarios. En el mundo de la educación aún no existe un uso generalizado de estas técnicas: esta contribución presentará algunos experimentos de IA en el mundo de la enseñanza, destacando las ventajas y dificultades de adoptar estos enfoques en la escuela. En particular, se analizarán dos experiencias realizadas por el Autor, que se ubican en las dos vertientes principales del uso de la IA en la escuela: por un lado, la IA como objeto de estudio por parte de los estudiantes, quienes se convierten en diseñadores de sistemas de IA y de esta manera toman conciencia de los principales mecanismos que utilizan las plataformas tecnológicas modernas para analizar nuestro comportamiento y nuestros gustos; por otro lado, la IA como herramienta para mejorar la acción didáctica, proporcionando a los docentes detalles significativos y útiles (obtenidos gracias a técnicas de aprendizaje automático) del proceso de solución implementado por los estudiantes durante las actividades de Robótica Educativa. Si con la primera experiencia se trató de educar a los alumnos en un uso ético de la IA, intentando formar ciudadanos conscientes de los algoritmos de IA que ya están muy extendidos en todos los aspectos de nuestra vida diaria, con la segunda intentamos aprovechar el potencial de las técnicas de aprendizaje automático para facilitar a los profesores en el análisis del proceso de resolución de problemas de los alumnos (y por tanto comprender mejor a los alumnos en clase para personalizar la propuesta formativa).
