Summary: | In 2015, dozens of Orthodox Jewish rabbis issued a statement on Christianity in which they affirmed that Christians share a common calling to make known to humanity the one God and divine law. Christian universality and the missionary character of the Church make a particular contribution to this “covenant partnership”, extending this knowledge to the ends of the earth. In an age of secularization, this article argues that Jews and Christians should bear special witness to God’s holiness and His intrinsic link with a moral life. |
