| Résumé: | Discutimos, neste texto, a possibilidade de utilizar o estudo da religião, a partir da Sociologia e da Antropologia, para compreender o sentido das diferentes relações sociais como fatos e fenômenos sociais. Sendo a religião produção humana, além do seu caráter tipicamente cultural, dá aos atores sociais que a produzem uma capacidade inexplicável de transcender o meramente visível; comunica ao indivíduo uma forma de esperança mistérica que, embora incognoscível e, portanto, indecifrável, se presentifica na mediação objetiva e sacramental do rito. A crença, em si subjetiva e em geral individual, quando ritualizada, desperta sentimentos gregários e ajuda na consciência grupal, além de aproximar e de tornar familiares o “sujeito” e o “objeto”. In this essay, we discuss the possibility of using the study of religion, through sociology and anthropology, to comprehend the meaning of different social relations as social facts and phenomena. As a human product, as well as through its typical cultural characteristic, religion gives the social actors, its constituents, an inexplicable means of transcending the visible; communicates to the individual a type of mysterious hope that, although impossible to apprehend and, as such, not knowledgeable, is present in the objective and sacramental mediation of rite. Belief, in itself subjective and normally individual, through the rites awakens gregarious sentiments, helping to form group conscience. It might, also, bring “subject” and “object” to a familiar basis. |
