At both levels, one can observe the decisive role of «storytelling», understood as either a collective or an individual act. This paper aims to examine these two objects from two different points of views: a cognitive or methodological perspective devoted to the role of narration in the production and legitimation of legal norms (Section I) and an anthropological perspective, which examines the contribution of narration to the assimilation of these norms by their recipients (Section II). The main thesis is that narration does not work only on a semantic level - as a body of statements that plays a role in the elaboration or legitimation of the norm - but also on a pragmatic level, as an emplotment of this norm. | ||
