Summary: | Christology, belief, and mission are the fundamental chapters of catholic theology, and are often the subject of theological discussions on important current topics, such as for example the inter-religious dialogue, feminist theology, and tolerance. This short paper attempts to clarify certain positions in accordance with the catholic doctrine, by proving the value and the modernity of the teachings of the Second Vatican Council and the importance of carrying them out by taking part in the ongoing discussions – both in the scientific world and in the community of believers. In this context, the New Testament writings – if correctly interpreted – help create solid, evidence-based foundations in favor of dialogue, the dignity of women, and the value of tolerance in accordance with the positions of the teachings and the orientations of theological research. |
