This becomes evident when analyzing political practices invented by feminism, which is not only a historical event, but also a singular access to being. These practices are possible because they are based on our relationships with others and the world, which come before any consciousness we might have of them. The practices render the relationships which every human being – man or woman – already has symbolic and political, without having to construct or seek them. Feminism has thus established the symbolic forces of these multiple relationships, and for this reason constitutes itself as a different epistemology, for which the concepts of immanence and transcendence are unnecessary. The idea, on the other hand, that sustains the separation between immanence and transcendence is that of an individual, who separates the being with itself (immanence) from transcending, by going beyond (transcendence). It is an epistemological model based on the idea of the isolated individual, whose relationships are constructed a posteriori.
