Summary: | At the End of a clearly synchronic, exegetical and hermeneutical reading, the author calls the readers attention to what he believes to be the fundamental ethical line of John 2, 1-12: the construction of the human life as a joyful feast that is possible only through a personal and direct sharing of ourselves with other people, following the example of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the article shows how contributing to humanity’s happiness is – at any rate – a great opportunity for everybody. To achieve this purpose, a serious and intelligent use of the Bible may be absolutely crucial in a cultural education – carried out in schools, churches, and universities – that wants to render each individual truly mature from an intellectual, emotional, and social point of view. |
