It was thus published in 1955 by the philosopher John Leslie Mackie, in his article Evil and Omnipotence, known for its logical acuity. From its critical-investigative analysis, its solution is sought by reflection on such classic human inquiries with works of several authors, aiming to offer a contribution to Philosophy of Religion, as well as a comparative study of solutions coming from different traditions of Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism in the sphere of Science of Religion, as a stimulus for interreligious dialogue. Our approach has greatly privileged the modern perspective of Theosophy. | ||
