Gadamer’s hermeneutics is used as theoretica perspective in order to accomplish this aim. So, there is initially a presentation of some ideas Gadamer developed regarding the relation between reason, art and religion concerning existencial knowledge. His general conception is then applied in the interpretation of this single literary work.
